VÈDER explores the primordial relationship between man and fire, translating its presence into a contemporary lighting experience. More than a lighting object, it is a perceptive device that investigates light's ability to generate atmosphere, memory, and connection.
The work is composed of six glass elements Handcrafted, each characterized by different material and optical qualities. Surfaces, densities, and transparencies interact with the light source, breaking it down and returning it to the space in the form of reflections, vibrations, and shifting depths.
Developed in collaboration with Vetreria d'Arte Gamberini, VÈDER celebrates the value of Italian craftsmanship as a tool for design research. Each module is conceived as an autonomous fragment of light and matter, capable of contributing to an open and ever-changing composition.
The ability to orient and reconfigure the elements introduces a ritual dimension to the interaction with the object. Through a simple and intuitive gesture, the user becomes an active part of the work, constantly modifying the perceptual quality of the environment and giving life to ever-changing light scenarios.
Between luminous sculpture and functional object, VÈDER gives back to light a narrative and contemplative dimension, evoking the ancestral charm of fire without ever directly representing it. A silent presence that transforms space through matter, reflection, and time.
