TRITTICO is the complete set of the 3 CENTO3 writing instruments, the latest project designed by Achille Castiglioni in 2001 together with his friend and colleague Gianfranco Cavaglià, engineered and brought to light by EGOUNDESIGN in 2021.

In the CENTO3 collection, design rigor, engineering and structural development, resulting from the comparison of the EGOUNDESIGN Team with the architect Cavaglià, coexist with the acuity and irony of the architect Castiglioni's observations.
CENTO3 instruments feature a unique trilobate arched shape, developed and refined as a more ergonomic and comfortable-to-grip section, as well as being entirely produced using 3D printing. This additive manufacturing technique starts with a blank space, depositing material only where needed until the finished piece is created, thus producing no waste. This layering process leaves the object with a textured surface that feels pleasant and soft to the touch.
In choosing the right material, EGOUNDESIGN added graphene microspheres - technically, graphene is a monoatomic layer of carbon derived from the exfoliation of graphite, light and resistant - to the base of PLA, a biobased material derived from renewable and plant-based raw materials such as potatoes and corn starch, compostable, biodegradable and particularly versatile in use.
