Every day we discover projects, ideas and creations that deserve to be remembered. UNSPIRATIONS wants to be an archive of inspirations, a collection of beautiful, intelligent and surprising things in the world of design, fashion, architecture, art. In everything that is design.

The creative process is made of invisible connections, of inspirations that intertwine and manifest themselves at the right moment. Sometimes a detail observed distractedly becomes the key to a future project; other times it is an architecture, a work of art or a fashion collection that suggests a direction, a language, a different approach to our way of designing.

The museum that doesn't want to be a museum.


Art escapes from frames and climbs trees. In Saint-Paul-de-Vence, the Maeght Foundation rejects rules and mixes sculpture, architecture and nature. Here Miró, Giacometti and Chagall dialogue with the light of the Mediterranean… and find their perfect dimension.

Thus the new creative director rewrites the concept of the catwalk, transforming it into a Valentino red public bathroom. A Lynchian setting where intimacy and provocation meet between doors that open and close.

A system of lamps that seems to have come out of a futuristic laboratory. SuperWire combines design and engineering with a taut steel cable that becomes a structure. Removable and repairable, because the light of the future is also sustainable.

/ARCHITECTURE Recovery in the Apuan Alps

Stone, time and memory.



Two abandoned buildings become a contemporary residence without losing the soul of the past. Andrea Guidi stitches together history with local materials and the know-how of the craftsmen, demonstrating that recovery is a new chapter written in stone.
