EGOUNDESIGN & Fabriano: when paper meets design.
Fabriano is one of the most important names in the world of paper. Founded in 1264, it remains an international benchmark for the quality of its products and its ability to combine tradition and modernity. Anyone who has ever touched writing, drawing, or creativity has encountered Fabriano paper at least once.
In this context, a new collaboration between EGOUNDESIGN and Fabriano was born, a project that brings together two entities united by a profound attention to creativity and design.
The EGOUNDESIGN collection in the Fabriano Boutiques
Thanks to this partnership, the collection Writing EGOUNDESIGN enters the Fabriano Boutiques in various cities: Milan, Rome, Fiumicino, Florence, Venice, Verona, London and Munich.
The protagonists are three projects:
CENTO3, the collection of multifunctional pens, fountain pens and micro-pens in graphene (carbon) material with the iconic trilobate clover shape,
TRILObyME, the all-in-one creative pencil case that in 10 centimetres contains an entire system for drawing and creating on the go,
Ily, the new multifunctional pencil in saffron, coral and mint colours produced in 3D printing with a PLA material from renewable plant sources.
Authorial design and contemporary production
The collection has its roots in the vision of architects, designers and friends Achille Castiglioni e Gianfranco Cavaglià, two key figures in Italian design, and is now developed through a contemporary approach based on the use of digital craftsmanship.
All products are made in Bologna, where advanced production technologies combine with manual processes, resulting in objects that combine precision, research, and identity.
A meeting between tradition and new forms of design
The collaboration between EGOUNDESIGN and Fabriano was born from the encounter between two different yet complementary worlds: on the one hand, a centuries-old history linked to paper production, on the other, contemporary design research focused on writing and the experience of the sign.
Inside the windows of the Fabriano Boutiques, these two approaches meet, transforming the exhibition space into a place of experimentation and storytelling.
An international project
The presence in the cities of Milan, Rome, Venice, Florence, Verona, London, and Munich underscores the project's international dimension and its desire to bring Italian design to diverse cultural contexts, always keeping the relationship between object and gesture at its core.
The shop windows thus become a point of contact between the public and the product, inviting them to rediscover the pleasure of writing and drawing through tools designed for everyday use.
